Nick Najera is an experienced educator who has taught jazz history, improvisation, and applied saxophone at San Bernardino Valley College, UC Riverside, and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.

His teaching emphasizes improvisation, listening, and practical skills drawn from his experience as a freelance musician. He works with students at all levels and has a particular interest in introducing beginners to jazz improvisation.
